What type of treatment does XTERMA use to get rid of bed bugs in your home?

The scientific name of our main extermination treatment is Beauveria bassiana. It is a fungal spore. It’s a highly effective biopesticide with no harmful effects on you, your family or the environment.

The spore enters a bedbug’s body when it touches it. The bedbug then brings the spore to its colony, where it infects other bedbugs and triggers an epidemic. The extermination process begins when the spore penetrates the bedbugs’ cuticle, killing them within 4 to 10 days.

Do you have a pet? Our treatments are safe for cats, dogs and all mammals. It’s low-odour, non-toxic and effective for up to 3 months. It can be used to exterminate bed bugs in your home, as well as to prevent them from reproducing.
